ICYMI (In Case You Missed It) - THANK YOU to our neighbors, the Alves family, for providing photography to capture images of all the fun you missed if you did not attend National Night Out!
TIP OF THE MONTH (August 2019) - This month, we hosted a National Night Out (NNO) Meet and Mingle Block Party for Frost Farms Homeowners Association, Inc. (FFHOA). On Tuesday, August 6, 7pm - 9pm neighbors and special guests enjoyed bounce houses, a mobile game truck, an old-fashioned ice cream truck, and photo opps on one of our very own DeSoto fire engines. We were honored to have in our midst some of our local heroes who serve as fire fighters/EMS at our nearby fire station. In addition, our Fire Chief, Police Chief, Mayor Pro Tem, Interim City Manager, Interim Deputy City Manager, Citizens on Patrol volunteers, and our Mayor joined the festivities! We extend a huge THANK YOU to our Social Committee (Warren Adams, Terri Haskett, Victoria Hearld, and Mark Jones) for the wonderful collaboration and commitment to pulling off a successful event!
NEW PROGRESS - Frost Farms' Beautification Project is underway! Your HOA Board has been working behind the scenes to maximize opportunities to enhance our community's curbside appeal. We are awaiting input from City of DeSoto officials to determine next steps on enhancing areas within our community.
We are also pleased to announce that a motion carried to move forward with capitol improvement plans in the median at our Pleasant Run entrance.
In the June 2019 HOA meeting, the Board agreed to review draft amendments to our Bylaws in an effort to comply with Texas statutes, particularly as it relates to collection of HOA dues. Following the July-August 2019 review, the Board will reconvene to discuss next steps. Stay tuned!
